Charleston Seafood Gumbo

Instructions

  1. Saute the onion and celery in 2 T butter, then whisk in the flour and cook to form a blond roux. Add the broth, tomatoes, bay leaves and sausage and bring to a light boil. Continue until the broth thickens.
  2. Add the spices, herbs, Worcestershire sauce and corn, then cover and cook 10 minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp and crab, cook for 5 minutes, remove from heat and remove the bay leaves.
  4. Plate and serve.
